Developing the Capacity of the High School of Justice
This programme, which supports development of the capacity of Georgia's High School of Justice is funded by the CoE ordinary budget and a voluntary contribution of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Strengthen the functioning of the High School of Justice (HSoJ) in line with European standards;

Increase the capacity of the HSoJ as regards strategic planning and development;

Bring in line with European standards the legislation, regulation and practice concerning the work of the HSoJ;

Support the HSoJ in developing a new curricuum on modern court management techniques and tools;

Strengthen the skills of the HSoJ's in-house trainers to use the new training methodology and materials;

Facilitate the acquisition of new skills by court presidents and their deputies to better manage the courts and use modern court management tools.

A comprehensive needs assessment of the HSoJ carried out;
Strategy and its Action Plan for the HSoJ developed;
Follow-up support for the adoption of the Strategy and its Action Plan provided;
Study Visit to the Dutch Training and Study Centre for the Judiciary organised;
Training curriculum for court managers being elaborated;
Training of trainers (ToT) on court management for the HSoJ being developed;
Pilot training for court managers being organised.
