A peer learning event with 10 new pilot schools for Democratic Culture Labs was organised by the Council of Europe in cooperation with the Agency for Quality Assurance of Pre-University Education and the Ministry of Education and Sport.

It brought together educational practitioners and leaders to share their views and experiences on spreading the culture of democracy, inclusiveness and the values of the Council of Europe in Albanian schools through the integration of the Reference Framework of Competences for Democratic Culture into school life. The event featured a mix of interactive and collaborative discussions to encourage active participation and inspire a learning process among participants.
These new schools bring the number of Democratic Culture Labs to 17 and are expected to contribute directly to the recently adopted Council of Europe education strategy "Learners First", which focuses on: living and learning participatory democracy from an early age.
