The Council of Europe organised the Human Resources Forum, in collaboration with the Minister of State for Public Administration and Anti-corruption and the Department of Public Administration. Bringing together representatives from key partner institutions, including the Albanian School of Public Administration, the Commissioner for the Oversight of the Civil Service, and Human Resources Units at both central and local level, the forum focused on the digitalisation of HRM processes and capacity building of public servants.
A major highlight of the peer discussions was the digital transformation of Human Resources Management processes, which is expected to streamline operations, enhance transparency, and increase accountability within the public administration.
Addressing the event, Giulia Re, Head of the Council of Europe office in Tirana, highlighted the role that digital tools play to ensuring a smooth and harmonised implementation of Human Resources Management across all levels of public administration.
The forum underscored the importance of continuous improvement and innovation in Human Resources Management to foster a more effective and responsive public administration.
This event was supported in the framework of the Supporting Public Administration Reform at Local Level in Albania project, funded by the Federal Republic of Germany.
