Public Administration Week kicks off in Albania

Public Administration Week in Albania kicked off with the support of the Council of Europe. This refreshing initiative led by the Minister of State for Public Administration and Anticorruption aims at bringing closer the public institutions with the citizens they serve, by raising public awareness on the endeavors of the public institutions, the opportunities they provide, and the services they deliver.

Addressing the launching event, the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Tirana, Giulia Re, highlighted the indispensable role of public administration in the governance and effective functioning of a country.

Throughout the week, a range of activities and events will offer citizens numerous opportunities to learn more about public administration. They can directly engage with professionals from various ministries, ask questions, and receive detailed information about public institutions. This engagement aims to foster transparency and trust, helping citizens better understand the roles and responsibilities of public servants.

This event was supported in the framework of the Supporting Public Administration Reform at Local Level in Albania project, funded by the Federal Republic of Germany.
