Group of specialists on assistance to victims and prevention of victimisation (PC-S-AV)
This Group of specialists discussed modern methods of assistance to victims and of prevention of victimisation. As a first step, the group focused on victims of terrorist acts. It concentrated, subsequently, on the wider aspects of assistance to victims. The Group elaborated a recommendation setting out, inter alia, appropriate standards and principles in this area.

Committee of Experts on Transnational Criminal Justice (PC-TJ)
The Council of Europe’s Committee of Experts on Transnational Criminal Justice (PC-TJ) was mandated to give follow-up to the ‘Renewal’ chapter of the Report on a ‘New Start’ in international cooperation in criminal matters. (link to the report)
