Mr Oscar Sanchez Muñoz, substitute member of the Venice Commission in respect of Spain, participated in the National Meeting of judges of electoral courts of Mexico organised by the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Power of the Federation (TEPJF), which took place in Mexico City on 25 and 26 November 2024. Mr Sanchez Muñoz presented an analysis of the case-law of the electoral jurisdictions during the 2024 elections in the light of international standards. This activity is a follow-up to the participation of the Commission’s delegation in the election observation exercise organised by TEPJF in June 2024.
