On 17 April 2024, members of the Venice Commission Secretariat had a meeting with the head and members of the delegation of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova to PACE to follow up on the following Opinions:

  • CDL-AD(2023)048 Joint Follow-up Opinion on the Electoral Code and other related laws concerning ineligibility of persons connected to political parties declared unconstitutional, approved by the Council for Democratic Elections at its 79th meeting (Venice, 14 December 2023) and adopted by the Venice Commission at its 137th Plenary Session (Venice, 15-16 December 2023);
  • CDL-AD(2023)032 Joint opinion on the anti-corruption judicial system and on amending some normative acts, adopted by the Venice Commission at its 136th Plenary Session (Venice, 6-7 October 2023);
  • CDL-AD(2023)041 Follow-up opinion to the opinion on the draft law on the intelligence and security service as well as on the draft law on counterintelligence and intelligence activity, adopted by the Venice Commission at its 136th Plenary Session (Venice, 6-7 October 2023);
  • CDL-AD(2022)026 Opinion on amendments to the Audiovisual Media Services Code and to some Normative Acts including the ban on symbols associated with and used in military aggression actions, adopted by the Venice Commission at its 132nd Plenary Session (Venice, 21-22 October 2022).
