On 19 May 2023 the newly published book “Defending together the cultural heritage of Europe. The Faro Convention” was presented at the headquarters of the Council of Europe Office in Venice.
Annalisa Rossi, Archives and Libraries Superintendent of the Lombardy, Veneto and Trentino-South Tyrol regions, introduced the volume and emphasized the importance of public-private cooperation in safeguarding cultural heritage. Director Luisella Pavan-Woolfe, editor of the book, spoke of recent developments after ratification by Italy of the Convention and of the rich network of communities active all over the Italian territory.
