On 10 May 2021 the second Caffè Europa event was held as part of the ninth edition of Europe Days. The title was "Europe, Venice and the fight against discriminations", and the focus was on how Venice, since its origins, has always been a city open to the rest of Europe and the world.
The online meeting was moderated by the Director of the Italian office of the Council of Europe Luisella Pavan-Woolfe, and attended by the city of Venice deputy mayor Andrea Tomaello, the head of the Milan office of the European Parliament Maurizio Molinari, Catholic University Sacro Cuore in Milan professor, as well as national coordinator for the fight against anti-Semitism, Milena Santerini, and the Ambassador of Germany in Italy Viktor Elbling.
