On 26 October the Volturno Community of Molise became a member of the Italian Faro Network, a platform composed of heritage actors, institutions and associations. These collaborate in line with the values of the Faro Convention to implement it on the national territory and at a local level.
A memorandum of understanding was signed by eight schools, non-profit organisations, social services and refugee centres in the Molise Volturno Valley. This statute refers to the principles of the Faro Convention and aims at protecting and enhancing the Volturno Valley’s tangible and intangible heritage.
The creation of new heritage walks in the upper Volturno Valley, heritage and legality education, interculture and migrants’ integration figure among the priorities of the agreement.
