The history of Armenian women challenging outdated stereotypes and addressing historical narratives was often over looked. These narratives were reexamined, revealing the true and diverse contributions of Armenian women, and challenging the misconceptions that persist today and reshape our attitudes. For too long, Armenian women's roles have been confined to traditional domestic spheres.
Here are some highlights:
- In early 20th century remarkable Armenian women were speaking out for women's rights through the press reflecting on what qualities should an Armenian woman have in order to voice her opinions on women's rights.
- The educational direction should be the same for both genders. If we strip both genders of their inherent instincts, they are both human, and they are both the same.
- How women's participation in politics has transformed over time and what is the growing impact of women in broader societal activities?
- Changing role of women in the labour market. How women’s participation in the workforce has evolved over the years - from past challenges to present achievements, see how far women have come and what is still ahead in the journey toward workplace equality.
