The Head of the Council of Europe Office in Yerevan, Martina Schmidt had a visit to the Acting Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Gevorg Baghdasaryan.

Gevorg Baghdasaryan congratulated Ms Schmidt on starting the responsibilities as the Head of the Council of Europe Office in Yerevan and expressed his gratitute for the support provided by the Council of Europe in the field of criminal justice reform.

During the meeting, the current programs of the reforms implemented with the support of the Office, as well as new directions of cooperation were discussed in details.

The parties expressed readiness to continue active official-working contacts in order to increase the effectiveness of the implemented programs.
