The 9th European Platform of Youth Centres takes place on 5-6 June and will be hosted by the European Youth Centre Budapest. The meeting will bring together representatives from almost 20 youth centres across Europe – Council of Europe Quality Label awarded youth centres as well as candidate centres aspiring to receive the label. This year the Platform aims in particular to address the impact and recognition of youth work in youth centres, the Committee of Ministers Recommendation CM/Rec(2017)4 on Youth Work and the contribution of youth centres with respect to youth policy developments. The meeting will also include the elaboration of joint approaches for the promotion of the youth centres as well as ensuring networking among labelled centres.
