The Youth Department of the Council of Europe partnered with the European Parliament and the European Youth Forum at the European Youth Event (EYE) in Strasbourg on 1 and 2 June where 8000 young people from Europe attended.

One of the seven activities run by the Youth Department was a Living Library aimed at challenging the readers prejudices. The books were kept busy on both days with over 150 readers.
