From 2 to 5 October, AICEM - International organisation for cooperation and worldwide education and Young Brent Foundation are organising a national training course “Human Rights Passwords” within the Youth revitalising democracy project under the support of the London Borough of Brent. This training course aims to promote human rights among young people, living in London and beyond, and their role as citizens, to contrast discrimination based on different cultural and religious backgrounds.

In the activity local organisations will discover the Council of Europe EDC/HRE Charter and make partnership to localise its implementation in their contexts.

An exhibition marking the 75th anniversary of the Council of Europe will complement the training course and take place on 2 October 2024 in the Brent Museum and Archives, London. That is a space for young people to share their aspirations and commitment to a democratic Europe and to contribute, as irreplaceable partners for the present and the future of the Council of Europe, to shaping the future of democracy and human rights on the European continent starting from its communities.
