The 52nd meeting of the Programming Committee on Youth (CPJ) was held on 12–13 December 2024 at the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg. At the meeting, the Committee approved the programme of activities for the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg and Budapest for 2025. The Committee also made decisions regarding study sessions to be held at the European Youth Centre and grants from the European Youth Foundation (EYF) for 2025.
Following the deadline for EYF grant applications of 1 October 2024, the CPJ awarded grants totalling around 1 million euros to support the international activities of 18 youth organisations and the annual work plans of 11 youth civil society organisations for 2025. Following the application deadline of 15 October 2024, the Committee approved study sessions for 12 youth organisations to take place at the European Youth Centres in the second half of 2025.
As part of a special call for Ukraine, the CPJ has awarded EYF grants to 46 projects, amounting to a total of €694,717. Additional applications under this call will be reviewed before the end of December 2024.
The CPJ is part of the Youth Sector of the Council of Europe. It is a co-managed body that includes representatives of youth civil society organisations and governmental institutions across Council of Europe member states.
