The European Youth Centre Strasbourg today welcomed Rose, the UK’s Ambassador for a Day, alongside Ambassador Sandy Moss, the UK’s Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe.
During her visit, Rose explored the European Youth Centre, youth sector’s co-management structures and engaged with representatives of the Advisory Council on Youth. She also learned about the Council of Europe’s initiatives supporting young people across the continent.
This visit was organised as part of the Ambassador for a Day initiative, launched by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) to celebrate International Women’s Day. The programme aims to inspire young women and girls to step into leadership roles and advocate for meaningful change in their communities.
