Youth in Leadership Today – The Pathway Forward is a transformative five-day study session organised by the World Student Christian Federation in Europe in cooperation with EYCB.
Open to those involved in Student Christian Movements and ecumenical organisations, this programme offers young leaders the chance to grow, connect, and shape a future guided by justice, inclusion, and solidarity.
It is designed to equip young people in the Student Christian Movements (SCMs) and in Christian faith-based organisations with the skills to lead with inclusivity, fairness, and a commitment to social justice. Through this initiative, participants will gain a renewed appreciation for ecumenism while strengthening their leadership abilities.
Aim
The study session aims to empower young people to mobilise their peers for meaningful social change, ensuring that SCMs remain relevant, dynamic, and sustainable. It also fosters deeper connections within the Ecumenical Movement, creating opportunities for collaboration and collective impact.
Through non-formal education and a holistic approach to leadership, participants will refine their skills and attitudes, embracing justice-driven strategies that uplift and unify communities. They will also develop communication skills that enhance the reach and influence of the Student Christian Movement in their local and global contexts.
