The different questions in the Autobiography of Intercultural Encounters (AIE) prompt users to recall their experience of an encounter and to reflect on their feelings and behaviour, and those of the person or people they met. Importantly, the AIE encourages the user to think about what they have learnt from the encounter. This activity uses material from real AIEs, each presented in story format and changed slightly for reasons of data privacy. It asks you to consider feelings and behaviour in encounters and the learning that can take place. The stories have been contributed in English by people who come from very different backgrounds.
