Descripción

TERRA.vita (formerly known as Northern Teutoburg Forest-Wiehen Mountains Nature Park / Naturpark Nördlicher Teutoburger Wald-Wiehengebirge) is a nature and geopark in the south-west of Lower Saxony and in the north-east of North Rhine-Westphalia. The geology of TERRA.vita Geopark is characterized by an exceptionally complete record of the past 300 Million years of earth history. Since 2006, the Route of Megalithic Culture has been developed across the Park where stone age monuments, mainly passage graves, are very common (www.megalithicroutes.eu/en/members/natur-und-geopark-terravita).
