Once again, the 52nd meeting of the Bureau of the Committee of Convention 108 was held on line, from Wednesday 24 to Friday 26 March 2021. Over 100 data protection experts representing states Parties to Convention 108 as well as observers connected daily to the platform, from all regions of the world.

Participants pursued their discussions on priority topics of the Committee of the Convention, such as measures taken or considered by States in the framework of anti-Covid-19 vaccination, digital identity, exchange of financial data, personal data processing in the context of political campaigns, and the evaluation and follow up mechanism under Convention 108+.
