Every year the ICC seeks feedback from its member cities on the past year as well as the priorities for the year to come. The results of the annual survey are used to plan for upcoming activities and to prioritise between topics.

The survey is an important tool to understand what the member cities find important and which tools are useful. This year, the ICC additionally sought feedback on the new online working methods.

Some highlights from the survey on the benefit of the ICC network include:

• It represents the political support of an international organisation to my city's intercultural policies and actions.
• It provides useful guidance, new methodologies, and opportunities for knowledge and good practice exchanges.
• It provides opportunities for networking with peers worldwide.
• It contributes to the international outlook of my city.
• It organises interesting events.
