A high-level conference to mark the 30th anniversary of the CPT will be held in the afternoon of 4 November 2019 in the Parliamentary Assembly Chamber of the Council of Europe, Strasbourg, France. The conference will be devoted to the theme “implementing safeguards in the first hours of police custody”.
The conference is being co-organised with the Association for the Prevention of Torture (APT) and will be followed by a ceremony. Both the conference and ceremony will be transmitted via live webcast.
