Tina Gudrun Jensen holds a MA in the sociology of religion and a PhD in anthropology from the University of Copenhagen. She is the owner of Coexist (www.coexist.dk), a company that provides consultancy in the fields of urban diversity and coexistence. She is also a researcher at the Malmö Institute for Studies of Migration, Diversity and Welfare at Malmö University.
Tina Gudrun Jensen has more than 20 years’ experience working with applied research on migration, urban diversity, social integration, coexistence, inclusion and discrimination in Scandinavia and South America. She has carried out analysis of national and local policies and practices on social integration, urban development, discrimination and tolerance in Denmark and Sweden. She is specialized in qualitative methods and in mixed methods combining ethnographic fieldwork and policy analysis.
Tina Gudrun Jensen has carried out reviews of anti-discriminatory strategies, mapped ideologies and practices related to intolerance and extremism, and produced analytical reports, good practice examples, policy briefs, research articles and training materials. Furthermore, she has facilitated intercultural dialogue through anti-discriminatory workshops and other citizen participation processes.
