An on-site visit of Council of Europe experts to assess the anti-corruption (AC) framework took place in Pristina from 21 to 25 May 2018. The objective of the visit was to hold meetings with interlocutors and gather information to produce a qualified and balanced assessment on the compliance of legal and institutional framework with international AC standards.
The Assessment Team conducted meetings with a wide range of relevant authorities including: Anti-Corruption Agency, State Prosecution, Judicial Council, Prosecutorial Council, Police, Border Police, Customs, Police Inspectorate, Academy for Public Safety, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Public Administration, Ombudsperson, Office of President, Office of Prime Minister, Anti-Corruption Council, Office of Good Governance, National Audit Office, National Agency for Personal Data Protection, representatives of international organisations, civil society, academia and EU Office.
The information collected from replies to the Questionnaire, during and subsequently after the on-site visit will serve as a basis for the forthcoming assessment of Kosovo* and its compliance in the AC area.
