An update of the Handbook “The Administration and You” has just been published. This Handbook sets out and explains the substantive and procedural principles which govern relations between public authorities and individuals. In this 3rd edition, which was adopted by the CDCJ in December 2023, the Handbook now takes into account the impact of the increasing use of artificial intelligence systems and automated decision making by public authorities in their dealings with individuals. The Handbook will be of use to the public at large, public officials, lawyers, judges, ombudsperson as well as policy makers and legislators.
