The aim of this Pestalozzi training unit is to raise participants’ awareness of cultural diversity at school or in the workplace. Participants get guidance in conducting interviews with people with a variety of cultural affiliations. After data collection, participants have to write a summary, focusing on their understanding of cultural diversity and the changing nature of identities due to transitions and cultural learning. As a last step, the findings of these small-scale ethnographic projects are presented and discussed.
