Marko Tamindžija was born and lives in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is a veterinary technician by profession, a graduate of Banja Luka Agricultural High School, and started studying medicine at the University of Banja Luka. He has worked for the OSCE as a consultant in the field of human rights. Mr Tamindžija is one of 33 applicants to the European Court of Human Rights in the case Zoletic and Others v. Azerbaijan, alleging human trafficking for the purpose of labour exploitation
