Retour Presumed impact of a construction of Overhead Power Line (OHL) in an environmentally sensitive area in the Lithuanian-Polish borderland

The complaint was submitted by the Association Rudamina Community in 2013 regarding the impacts of the construction of an Overhead Power Line (OHL), which is, according to the complainant, affecting an environmentally sensitive area in the Lithuanian-Polish borderland as well as species and habitats protected under the Bern Convention. This complaint also involves the development of other infrastructures and disturbing activities.

This has been the only case to date which invoked a Mediation procedure of the Bern Convention.
