3. Les procédures de PMA sont-elles prises en charge par le système de sécurité sociale ?
La situation peut varier selon le comté, mais de manière générale, un certain nombre de tentatives de PMA sont prises en charge ; actuellement, la plupart des cliniques publiques ou sous contrat proposent trois essais, conformément à une recommandation nationale (de l’Association suédoise des pouvoirs locaux et régionaux, SKL).
La PMA est considérée comme partie intégrait des soins de santé.
4. Cette prise en charge est-elle soumise à des critères particuliers (par exemple, infertilité, limite d’âge) ? Recommandations nationales : Si le couple/la femme est autorisé(e) à bénéficier d’une PMA conformément aux critères précités, il/elle pourra effectuer trois essais. De manière générale, une femme âgée de plus de 40 ans ne pourra bénéficier du traitement à moins qu’elle ne dispose d’embryons congelés avant l’âge de 40 ans, auquel cas ils devront être utilisés avant qu’elle atteigne l’âge de 45 ans. Ce principe s’applique indépendamment de la prise en charge financière. L’autre parent ne doit pas être âgé de plus de 56 ans.
5. Le nombre de procédures de PMA prises en charge est-il limité (par exemple, uniquement trois tentatives de FIV) ? Jusqu’à trois tentatives sont habituellement prises en charge.
