3. Les procédures de PMA sont-elles prises en charge par le système de sécurité sociale ? Oui. Auparavant, l’infertilité a été considérée comme une pathologie. Maintenant, depuis juillet 2016, selon le principe d’égalité, défini par la loi ; toutes les femmes, mariées ou célibataires, ayant ou pas des problèmes d’infertilité, peuvent demander d’être inséminées.
4. Cette prise en charge est-elle soumise à des critères particuliers (par exemple, infertilité, limite d’âge) ? Oui. Il y a seulement un minimum d’âge, à 18 ans (loi 32/2006, art 6º, nº2,), pour l’ensemble du pays. 40 ans pour le Système National de Santé – NHS.
5. Le nombre de procédures de PMA prises en charge est-il limité (par exemple, uniquement trois tentatives de FIV) ? Oui. Dans ce moment-là, le numéro des inséminations artificielles pour une femme célibataire ou homosexuelle dans le NHS n’est pas clair.
