The Centre of Expertise in cooperation with CESCI (Central European Service for Cross-Border Initiatives Balkans) has implemented the Leadership Academy Programme for Cross-Border Cooperation (LAP for CBC) for the local authorities of border municipalities of Hungary, Croatia, and Serbia. The second stage takes place in Valpovo, Croatia, on 12-14 November. The local authorities learnt how to develop institutional leadership to develop better CBC, and developed specific project proposal.

At the invitation of the Ministry of Economy and Trade and CESCI – Central European Service for Cross-Border Initiatives, the Centre of Expertise will also participate in the Conference of a Slovak-Hungarian EGTC (European grouping of territorial cooperation), in order to present and discuss implementation of a Leadership Academy for Cross-Border Cooperation for the Hungarian and Slovak bordering local authorities.
