The Centre of Expertise for Local Government Reform organised a workshop on Adaptation and pilot of Local Finance Benchmark in Georgia on 18-19 of May and a Round table on Implementing inter-municipal cooperation in Georgia on 20 May 2016 in cooperation with the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure and the National Association of Local Authorities of Georgia.
The goal of the activities was to outline the concret steps for local finance benchmark toolkit pilot and to discuss with interested municipalities prospects of inter-municipal cooperation.
The events were organised as a part of the programme "Strengthening institutional frameworks for local governance in the Eastern Partnership countries" under the Programmatic Cooperation Framework (PCF) for 2015-2017 funded by the European Union and cofunded by the Council of Europe.
