18 autorités locales bulgares ont reçu le Label européen d’innovation et de bonne gouvernance lors d’une cérémonie officielle le 18 mai à Plovdiv (Bulgarie) : Bansko, Biala Slatina, Vratsa, Valchi Dol, Gabrovo, Gorna Oryahovitsa, Dimitrovgrad, Dobrich, Dolna Banya, Kneja, Lovech, Pavlikeni, Petrich, Pomorie, Svishtov, Sofia, Troyan, Targovishte. Sept de ces municipalités ont reçu le Label pour la troisième fois. Les prix ont été décernés par le Vice-Premier ministre, Tomislav Donchev, en présence du Vice-Ministre du Développement régional et des Travaux publics, Ivan Asparuhov, et de la directrice exécutive de l’Association nationale des municipalités de la République de Bulgarie, Ginka Chavdarova.
La Stratégie pour l’innovation et la bonne gouvernance du Conseil de l’Europe est mise en œuvre en Bulgarie par le ministère du Développement régional et des Travaux publics, en partenariat avec l’Association nationale des municipalités.
