The 4th meeting of the Steering Committee for the Action against economic crime in “the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia” took place in Skopje on the 14th of September 2018. The aim of the meeting was to take stock of results achieved in the first two years of the Action and to discuss plans for the forthcoming period. Representatives from the Financial Intelligence Office, the State Commission for Prevention of Corruption, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Public Revenue Office, the Insurance Supervision Agency, the Ministry of Interior, the Customs Office, the Financial Police, the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the National Bank, the Chamber of Public Notaries, as well as representatives of the European Delegation to Skopje and the Council of Europe attended the meeting and discussed existing and new needs and ways in which the Action can support their efforts in the following months. All present expressed satisfaction with support provided to date and eagerness to continue the work through Phase II of the Action.
