Within the PGG-REG Project, the Council of Europe completed in-country missions to Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine as part of the Regional Assessment of Corruption Risks in the Public Procurement Sector. During the missions, the CoE experts conducted interviews with state bodies and non-governmental institutions competent in the area of public procurement.
The purpose of the assessment is to identify country-specific and regional patterns of corruption risks and obstacles to good governance in public procurement. The findings of the assessment and recommendations to address the identified risks will be included in a subsequent technical paper. The assessment results will also be discussed with the national policy makers and practitioners from the EaP countries at a regional workshop in early 2018.
