Georgian prosecutors and investigators from the Prosecutor’s Office, State Security Service, Ministry of Justice, and Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance attend a two day Training on “Economic Crime Investigations”, in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The training aims to foster the skills and understanding to counter the economic crimes in Georgia. The Council of Europe’s experts will give the participants insight into how to open investigations and organise investigative strategies, to carry out financial investigations and to develop international cooperation in economic and financial crime cases.
The training is organised within the framework of the CoE/EU Partnership for Good Governance (PGG) Regional Project “Fight against corruption and fostering good governance; fight against money-laundering”, in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia.
