Retour International Training at UK’s National Crime Agency

Within the framework of the TYSAP project an international training on modern corruption investigations, cooperation and information sharing among anti-corruption bodies was held at the UK’s National Crime Agency for a group of 21 inspectors from the Prime Ministry Inspection Board of Turkey. The training served to enhance capacities of the PMIB inspectors in modern corruption investigation techniques and provided an opportunity to exchange experience on anti-corruption policies and practices with relevant UK agencies. The international training included sessions with representatives from the UK’s National Crime Agency, Ministry of Justice, Serious Fraud Office and Criminal Prosecution Service Inspection Board. Training sessions were dedicated to the issues of UK anti-corruption systems, policies and procedures, investigation techniques for corruption allegations, international asset recovery, mutual legal assistance and prosecution of corruption cases.
