The Skopje-based team of the Action Against Economic Crime held a productive meeting with the newly appointed Head of the Financial Intelligence Office, Mr Kujtim Ibishi, and his team. The discussion focused on the Action's work plan, including a review of past activities and an outline of upcoming initiatives to enhance understanding of virtual currency risks, including risk assessments and training, while continuing policy and capacity-building efforts such as developing national strategies and further training. 

Both parties expressed their commitment to maintaining the effective collaboration and open communication that have been key to their ongoing success.
