The Joint CoE/EU South Neighbourhood Anti-Corruption Project (SNAC 3 Regional) organised a sub-regional training on “Investigating proceeds of corruption and their laundering” on 23-24 April 2019 in Amman, Jordan. This training was attended by the representatives of Palestinian and Jordanian anti-corruption authorities and aimed at enhancing their knowledge and skills on conducting investigations into proceeds of corruption as well as their laundering with a view to ensure their successful recovery and repartiation. Furthermore, it has allowed the participants to exchange experience and good practices at a sub-regional level taking into account the similar threats and challenges to anti-corruption efforts.
The SNAC 3 Project is a component of the Joint CoE/EU Programme “Ensuring sustainable democratic governance and human rights in the Southern Mediterranean” (South Programme III), which is implemented by the Council of Europe during 2018-2020.
