The Council of Europe held a training on the protection of whistleblowers for Tunisian anti-corruption authorities. The purpose of the activity was to build the capacities of Tunisian authorities in the implementation of new legislation on the protection of whistleblowers, by sharing good practices and jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) on this issue.
The training was carried out in the framework of the Anti-Corruption Project in Tunisia (TAC) implemented under the aegis of the Joint programme of the European Union and the Council of Europe to support independent bodies in Tunisia (PAII-T).
