- Description
- The Ommegang Royal Society of Brussels is devoted to the organisation of the “Ommegang Oppidi Bruxellensis”, the historical reconstruction of the celebration given on 2 June 1549 by the Magistrate of Brussels in honour of Emperor Charles V, his son Philip, Duke of Brabant, his sisters, Mary, Queen of Hungary, and Eleanor, Queen of France, on the Grand Place in Brussels. The revival takes the form of a historical procession between the Sablon and the Grand Place.
