Worked for 18 years in the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Chile, 8 of which I was the Head (Director) of the International Cooperation and Extraditions Unit, which is Central Authority for MLA, including the Budapest Convention, and 24/7 point of contact. I was part of the chilean delegation involved in the drafting process of the Second Additional Protocol. I am a guest lecturer on transnational criminal law, international criminal law and international cooperation in criminal matters at universities in Chile and abroad. Author of academic papers in criminal law, international and transnational criminal law and international cooperation.
