The Cybercrime Convention Committee (T-CY) was invited to attend the International Symposium on Cybercrime Response (ISCR) – 2024, in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from 27 to 29 August. Hosted by the Investigation Bureau of the Korean National Police Agency, this annual event aims to contribute to safety in cyberspace through security governance. This year's Symposium was opened by the President of the Republic of Korea, Yoon Suk Yeol, who expressed his commitment to the fight against cybercrime.
The chair of the T-CY, Mr. Pedro Verdelho, delivered a keynote speech on the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime and its Protocols in the light of the recently completed draft United Nations treaty on the same topic.
