Ioana Lazar has been with the Cybercrime Programme Office of the Council of Europe in Bucharest, Romania since 2017. She is a Senior Project Officer, dealing with countries from the MENA region.
Before her current role, she was involved for 10 years in international cooperation programmes against organised crime, cybercrime, economic crimes, at the General Inspectorate of Romanian Police, working in co-operation with international organisations like Europol and with the European Commission.
Ioana Lazar is from Romania and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law, and one in Psychology, after studies in Bucharest.
