Karlis has more than 15 year experience in both public and private sectors. When in Law Enforcement, he was responsible for international cooperation related to financial crime. In regarding to AML/CFT, he was a member of Ernst & Young Baltic team, involved in liquidation process of large European bank with high-risk client database. Currently he is with FIU Latvia working in Financial Intelligence Division.
