Finland ratified the Revised European Social Charter on 21/06/2002, accepting 88 of the 98 paragraphs of the Revised Charter.

It ratified the Additional Protocol providing for a system of Collective Complaints on 17/07/1998. Finland has made a declaration enabling national NGOs to submit collective complaints.

Finland ratified the European Social Charter and the Additional Protocol to the Charter on 29/04/1991. It ratified the Amending Protocol to the Charter on 18/08/1994.

La réclamation ATTAC ry, Globaali sosiaalityö ry et Maan ystävät ry c. Finlande, n°163/2018, a été enregistrée le 18 avril 2018. Elle porte sur les articles 1 à 7, 11 à 13, 20 à 24, 26 à 31 et sur l’article E de la Charte sociale européenne révisée. Les organisations allèguent que le Gouvernement finlandais a mis en péril le respect des droits garantis par la Charte sociale européenne et la capacité de l'Etat finlandais à remplir ses obligations au titre de celle-ci par la façon dont le Gouvernement finlandais a négocié l'Accord économique et commercial global (CETA).
