HELP course on International Cooperation in Criminal Matters for prosecutors of the Higher Court of Belgrade, Serbia completed

The HELP course on International Cooperation in Criminal Matters  was completed with 92% success rate for 24 prosecutors from the Special Courts for Organised Crime and War Crimes in Belgrade, Serbia.

The course was implemented through cooperation of two CoE projects "Preventing money laundering and terrorist financing in Serbia" and “HELP in the Western Balkans" with the support of the Judicial Academy of Serbia.

The course covers extradition, mutual legal assistance, transfer of sentenced persons, supervision of offenders, international validity of criminal judgments and transfer of proceedings, seizure and confiscation of proceeds of crime, an International Cooperation Toolbox with links to relevant information and organisations related to International Cooperation in Criminal Matters, as well as Help and Guidance on making and carrying out requests.

The course is freely available in self-learning format. The overall length of the online course is approximatively eleven hours and those who complete it online can obtain an electronic ‘Statement of accomplishment’.
