This training course aims to share information for youth activists from rural areas in Ukraine about human rights and their particular importance in war and post-war times based on the Compass activities.
Objectives:
- To provide information on human rights in general, as well as on citizenship and participation, peace and violence, migration, discrimination and intolerance, war and terrorism;
- To encourage 20 youth leaders to become human rights activists in rural communities;
- To support 20 youth activists from rural areas to apply approaches and practices of intercultural learning and human rights education in youth work projects;
- To teach young activists from rural areas informal methods of human rights education;
- To combat discrimination and intolerance against IDPs and refugees while fostering understanding of the causes and experiences of the people who are forced to migrate.
