Retour Partnership with Industry for the translation of OECD Guidance

A government initiative established a stakeholder partnership for the purpose of translating the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains in the Garment and Footwear Sector into Polish.

Established in August 2017, the partnership comprised 14 members from public administration entities, business representatives, industry organisations and civil society organisations. The Polish version of the OECD Guidance was then launched in June 2018 during a dedicated conference on the issue of due diligence. The Ministry of Investment and Development further encourages representatives of the garment and footwear sector to use the OECD Guidance in practice, and representatives of industry organisations, trade unions and social organisations are to widely disseminate information about the standards of responsible business conduct.
